  • Photo 1, Photo 2 - Junior Founding Member Travis Thatcher and Founding Board Member Craig Thatcher show off their first Antelope, both taken on Oct 1st, 2006, near Big Sandy, Wyoming.  Both used Travis's Ruger Youth 243.  Travis is quick to remind folks he took the larger buck with one shot at 250 yards while dad had to shoot twice to get the wider buck at 200 yards.
  • Photo Member Terry Herndon took this Unit 8 buck on October 1 2004 with his Traditions Evolution LD .50 caliber muzzleloader. Terry used four triple 7, 30 grain pellets topped off with a 250 grain sabot bullet and "nailed it" at 137 yards. The buck will score in the mid-86" range.

  • Photo Member Beth Pugh ended her Unit 1 antelope hunt at 7:30 AM on opening day of the 2004 season. Using a 25-06 with 117gr Hornady spitzer boattail, and her rifle steadied on a Harris bipod, the 280 yard shot quickly found its mark. With 8" bases, the green score totaled 84".

  • Photo Member Lynn Evans filled his antelope tag in Unit 19B during his hunt in September 2003.

  • Photo Founding Life Member Mark Nixon filled his archery antelope tag in Unit 17B during his hunt in September 2002.

  • Photo Member Richard Riethmayer took this running antelope at 287 yards with his 30-06 on the opening day (August 2002) of the New Mexico Mobility Challenged Antelope hunt. This was his first antelope. Congratulations to Richard!

  • Photo Kay Davidson, AES Founding Life Member, took this nice buck in Unit 1 during the 2002 fall season.

  • Photo Don Davidson, AES Founding Life Member and AES Board Member, harvested this antelope in Unit 1 during the 2002 fall season.

  • Photo Rosemarie Nelson filled her Unit 2C tag at 6:45 AM on the opening morning (09/20/02) of her first antelope hunt. Rosemarie was using a Remington 700 in .308 caliber with a Leupold Vari X II 3x9 scope. One shot at 284 yards and and now she, and husband/guide David have a new standard for future hunts. A spectacular trophy! David and Rosemarie have a Founding Couple Membership in the AES.
