  • Photo1, Photo2, Photo3 - John Krause, Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. I took this deer on the last day of my hunt after missing a much smaller deer. My deer is 7 years old and scores 95 inches.

  • Photo1, Photo 2 - Christian Wolff, My dad and I hunted hard for 3 days and I was able to tag this guy on Sunday at about 3:30. My dad spotted him and we put him to bed and made our way to 190 yards. We waited for him to get out of his bed for 7 hours!!! I rough scored the buck right at 80 inches.

  • Photo - Tom Schorr, AES Board member and 4 freinds had a great hunt in Mexico. Dec
    2006.

  • Photo Steve Clark, Founding Life Member with his 2005 Mexico Coues Deer.  I have been hunting this ranch for years looking for a great deer and this year I found him.  122" Gross, 115" Net.

  • Photo Life member Steve Clark with his 2006 New Mexico Mule Deer.  After chasing deer for three days Steve was able to harvest this deer headed across the sage brush flat going back in to the canyon for his daily nap.  Steve and his friend Chuck saw deer everyday and had a great hunt in New Mexico.

  • Photo 12 year old Founding Jr. Member Travis Thatcher shows off his first deer.  Travis used a Ruger .243 to take the deer near his home in Afton, Wyoming on the first day of the 2005 season.

  • Photo Member & committee volunteer Jim Carney went to Nebraska in November 2004 and filled both of his tags standing in one spot. Using his A-Bolt 30.06 he shot what he thought was just one deer and as soon as it went down, another "popped" and he harvested that one as well. Jim, hunting with AES Board Member, Gary Maschner, was excited to have had this "double-deer" day. And since they were in Nebraska and had something to celebrate, he went to the Cabella's in Sidney and showered himself with some "gotta have" supplies.

  • Photo New AES member, Dan Roland of Chandler, sent us this picture of the muley he took in Wyoming in October 2004. The deer scored at 188 1/2 and had around 17-inches of "trash points", all of which added to the special character of his nice trophy.

  • Photo Founding Member John Beaty and his son Kyle (also an AES member) doubled up with nice muleys on their late Unit 12A east hunt. The Beaty's used the services of AES member Jim Mullins (Mullins Guide Service and Videography) to cash in on these nice trophy deer.

  • Photo Founding Member Chris Denhams' son Mark (10 yrs old) drew his first big game hunt tag for the November 2003 General Deer Hunt. He hunted hard and proved to dad that he can provide food for the family. Way to go Mark! Was it a good hunt? In this case ... a picture truly is worth a thousand words.

  • Photo Founding Member Beth Pugh took this 25" spread 4x3 muley at 180 yards with her 7mm in November 2003 while hunting in Hullett, Wyoming. Beth and her husband Bob (also a Founding Member) stalked this deer for 3 hours and finally found an opportunity for a shot at 4:10 PM on the last day of the hunt.

  • Photo Founding Life Member Daron Evans bagged this 4x4 mule deer in Unit 27.

  • Photo Mel Risch poses with his Mexican Coues whitetail that he harvested in January 2003 on his hunt with guide Steve Clark, AES Founding Life Member.
