AES Founding and Former Board Member Craig Thatcher shows off this nice 6x7 taken near Cody Wyoming on Nov. 12th. 2006. Craig used his .300 Weatherby to take this bull in its bed. Craig had to sneak into a herd estimated at 200 elk to get this guy and when he shot nearly 400 elk scattered from the hillside and draws! Craig was hunting with longtime friend Willie Lawrence who helped with the packing duties.
