Join!

Interesting title for a very important section..

The Arizona Elk Society (AES) has about 1600 members.  Through the members things get done within the organization.  If you look at other sections within the website,  it is Activities, Sponsors or a category under the Visitor Center  section. The Arizona Elk Society's strength is its members.  To this end we created this section called Join!.

Here we provide the means to either actually join  AES via the Membership page or join in our activities via the Help Wanted page.  On this page you can sign up to help at an upcoming activities where AES may need help.  By the way you don't have to be a registered member  to help at any of our activities.

To help you understand why we want you to Join!, we have provided a summary of what AES has done to achieve its goal of supporting wildlife and its habitat.  Through the Accomplishment page we chart our progress and share with you how your contribution grows thorough "dollar matching" of various organizations and agencies.

Finally we share the power of the Habitat Partners Program.  This is where you can contribute money to help develop and sustain long-term programs.  These programs have helped "set-aside" thousands of acres in northern Arizona to promote scientific and proven animal management  activities with the Bureau of Land Management and. the Arizona Game and Fish Department. 

In conclusion, why Join? Quite simply it is because if you believe in the Arizona Elk Society's mission; "To raise funds to benefit elk and other wildlife through habitat conservation and restoration and to preserve our hunting heritage for present and future generations",  then you a member in your heart and now it is time to join...
