HOUSTON DRAW (UNIT 5A)

Continued work on completing a meadow restoration project by installing  Zeedyk structures. These are erosion control structures that use rock and log placement to slow down flow of water through meadow. We use structures such as one rock dams, rock mulch rundowns, zuni bowls, log sills, and log weirs. We will also be building exclosure fences,  and moving a trail out of the meadow and rerouting it through the forest.
