Residents in the Flagsaff area formed a chapter of the Arizona Elk Society. Known as the ARIZONA NORTHERN PEAKS CHAPTER, volunteers feel they can significantly contribute to improved populations of elk and other wildlife as well as partner with the communities to provide quality opportunities to get the public involved in conservation for wildlife. Teaching the youth about conservation, outdoors, hunting and fishing will be an important part of what they do in the local communities.
